Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic team at the Illinois Hammer Injury Law Firm. With a team of experienced attorneys, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to justice and ensuring that injured individuals receive the compensation they deserve. You will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury cases and providing expert legal counsel to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-litigation: Work with our advanced case software management which includes AI assistance, insurance department, medical management team, and case managers to manage caseload from inception to resolution. Responsible for reviewing demands, negotiating with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties to secure favorable settlements for clients.
  • Litigation: Appear in court on behalf of the Plaintiff. Review and analyze written discovery. Take depositions of parties, doctors, and experts. Participate in arbitrations, pre-trials, mediations. Take cases to trial as necessary, securing the most favorable result for the client.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjustors, and opposing counsel to provide updates on case progress.

Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of Personal Injury experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active licensure to practice law in State of Illinois
  • Licensed to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois
  • Strong understanding of personal injury laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassion for injured individuals and a dedication to achieving justice on their behalf.

Work Schedule:
Hybrid

Compensation:
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 in total compensation
