We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse caseload involving both personal injury and family law matters, with a focus on client-centered advocacy and results.
As an Associate Attorney, you will be involved in all aspects of case preparation and legal proceedings, from initial client consultations to trial preparation and post-trial motions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both personal injury and family law, with a strong desire to help clients navigate challenging legal issues during difficult times.
Duties:
- Handle a caseload involving personal injury claims (motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, etc.) and family law matters (divorce, child custody, spousal support, etc.).
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Represent clients in court, hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and options in both personal injury and family law matters.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
- Collaborate with paralegals and other legal professionals to ensure efficient case management.
Skills:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Arizona State Bar membership in good standing.
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury and/or family law practice (strong preference for candidates with experience in both).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong litigation skills with a proven ability to handle court appearances and client interactions.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.
- Compassionate, client-focused approach to legal representation.
