Our firm is built on dedication, teamwork, and a client-first approach. We are expanding our litigation team and seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join our Memphis office.
Position Summary:
The Litigation Attorney will manage a large caseload of personal injury cases through all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial. This role requires a results-driven litigator who provides aggressive, effective, and ethical representation to each client. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional courtroom and negotiation skills, and maintains strong organization and focus while handling a high-volume caseload. A passion for client advocacy and the ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines are essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from filing through trial.
- Provide strategic legal advice and ethical representation to clients.
- Conduct discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for client interests.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient case progress.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and uphold the firm's reputation for excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Bar license required; willingness to obtain Arkansas license preferred.
- 5+ years of litigation experience strongly preferred (personal injury experience required).
- Proven record of trial or arbitration experience is a plus.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a heavy caseload with accuracy, organization, and efficiency.
