Job Overview:We are seeking a motivated, experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position. This role requires strong communication and litigation skills, client management abilities, and a commitment to ethical and results-driven representation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of case management and independently manage caseload;
- Conduct consultations;
- Conduct legal research;
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, etc.;
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff;
- Attend client meetings, hearings, and trials;
- Prepare cases for trial and handle all aspects of litigation;
- Manage tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Maintain accurate time keeping and meet firm productivity expectations;
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff;
- Develop and execute case strategies and advise clients of potential outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- J.D from an accredited law school;
- Admission to the Louisiana Bar and active license to practice law in Louisiana in good standing;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Professional demeanor, integrity, and desire to grow in a collaborative setting.
Compensation:
