McCready Law is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys managing cases from intake through resolution, values collaboration, and wants to grow within a firm that prioritizes both strong advocacy and a supportive team environment.
About the role:
As a Personal Injury Attorney at McCready Law, you will manage cases through all phases of litigation, working closely with clients, colleagues, and support staff. While this role may be filled at the associate level, we are also open to experienced trial attorneys.
What you will do:
This is a representative list and may evolve over time.
- Conduct client intake meetings and maintain ongoing client communication
- Draft, negotiate, and settle cases in the pre litigation phase
- Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery requests, and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and argue motions as appropriate
- Work with experts, treating physicians, and medical providers
- Prepare cases for trial, including jury trials when applicable
- Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and litigation support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in Smart Advocate
- Uphold professional, ethical, and firm standards at all times
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of litigation experience in plaintiff personal injury
- Experience drafting complaints, discovery, and litigation related documents
- Licensed and in good standing in the applicable jurisdiction
Preferred Experience:
- Experience taking depositions and participating in motion practice
- Jury trial experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Comfortable learning and using case management systems, including Smart Advocate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage deadlines and priorities effectively
