ME Lawyers, APLC is a plaintiff personal injury law firm seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing team. We currently have opportunities at both the Litigation Attorney and Trial Attorney levels, with compensation ranging from $200,000 to $500,000 annually, depending on the position, experience, and qualifications.This is an opportunity to work on plaintiff personal injury matters, take meaningful ownership of cases, and work alongside experienced attorneys and legal support teams to pursue strong outcomes for our clients.
Available Opportunities
Litigation Attorney — $200,000–$250,000 annually
Ideal for an attorney with strong plaintiff personal injury litigation experience who can independently manage cases through discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediation, and settlement or trial preparation.
Trial Attorney — $500,000 annually
Ideal for an experienced plaintiff personal injury attorney who can take ownership of high-value cases, develop trial strategy, and confidently handle courtroom proceedings, including witness examination, evidence presentation, and trial advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from litigation through resolution
- Develop case strategies based on liability, damages, evidence, applicable law, and potential case outcomes
- Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, identifying evidence, and preparing cases for mediation or trial
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and other substantive litigation documents
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, treating providers, and experts
- Evaluate liability, damages, settlement value, and overall case strategy
- Represent clients in hearings, case management conferences, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties
- Communicate with clients throughout the litigation process and keep them informed of case developments
- Collaborate with case managers, legal assistants, paralegals, experts, investigators, and other attorneys to develop strong liability and damages cases
- Maintain control of litigation deadlines, procedural requirements, and accurate case records
- Prepare witnesses, exhibits, arguments, and other materials for trial and, for the Trial Attorney role, lead courtroom advocacy and trial proceedings
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar of California
- Plaintiff personal injury experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of California personal injury law, civil procedure, discovery, and evidence
- Experience handling civil litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong judgment and ability to independently evaluate cases and develop effective litigation strategies
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Client-focused approach with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with injured clients
Litigation Attorney
- 3+ years of hands-on plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
- Proven ability to independently manage cases through discovery, depositions, and mediation
- Strong experience with California civil litigation procedures and deadlines
- Significant plaintiff personal injury litigation and trial experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute trial strategy
- Confident courtroom presence and ability to effectively examine witnesses, present evidence, and advocate before judges and juries
