Our firm is growing, and we're looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. You'll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
  • Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
  • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
  • Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary
  • Arrange suitable agreements and settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate

Qualifications:
  • Florida licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history
  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • Self-starter, driven by long-term career goals
  • Superior oral and written advocacy skills
  • Team oriented
  • State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory
  • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
  • Requires a bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree
  • A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired

Compensation:
$70,000 - $135,000 salary + bonuses
