Description:
Serves as a senior attorney with the Public Defender's Office. Positions in this class handle generally complex or difficult matters with limited supervision representing indigent adults and juveniles charged with serious crimes. Positions may involve supervisions of other attorneys or staff members and the handling of administrative tasks involved in the day to day operation of the Public Defender's Office.Requires Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Must possess and maintain current membership in the S.C. Bar Association.
Experience as a practicing attorney.
