Description:

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks an Associate or Patent Agent to join the Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group on the Electrical Engineering & Software Team in any office.

Qualifications:
  • Candidates must have IP experience with drafting and patent prosecution and a background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar
  • Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus
  • Wireless communication experience in 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards is desired but not required
  • Associate and Patent Agent candidates must be admitted to the USPTO and have 2-6 years of legal experience.
  • Associate candidates must be licensed to practice law or have the ability to become licensed as soon as possible in the state in which they will work.
  • All candidates must be a member of the USPTO
  • Candidates must have outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong organizational and analytical abilities

The national average salary range for this Associate role is $205,000-$305,000. The national average salary range for this Patent Agent role is $99,600-$145,800. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications and experience.
