Collier Legal is a rapidly growing IP firm, with a focus on patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, PTAB and TTAB matters, and IP transactions. The firm is looking for attorneys willing to learn and assist across multiple interrelated practice areas.
Position Overview:
We are looking for patent attorneys willing to assist in trademark and transactional matters. The position will start as part-time with an expected workload of ~20 hours per week. Additional hours will become available in the near future.
The selected candidate will be listed on the firm's website (name and picture only) and must be willing to be client-facing.
A primary factor in our firm's growth is extended availability to clients. The ideal candidate is willing to correspond with clients and the firm after traditional business hours.
Qualifications:
- USPTO Registration Number
- 3+ years of substantial patent prosecution experience
- Experience with patent searches
- Experience drafting patent applications and office action responses
- Willingness to work on various technical subject matters, including biotechnology and software
- Trademark experience (preferred)
- Transactional experience (preferred)
- Willingness to be listed on firm website
- Ability to communicate with clients
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
