Description:

Pierce Atwood seeks a patent associate with a bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering, robotics, or physics to join our Patent Practice Group in Portland, ME, Boston, MA, or our Portsmouth, NH office.

The ideal candidate will have:

2-4 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm
Experience handling technologies such as medical devices, electronics, or robotics
Excellent academic credentials
Exceptional analytical skills
Superior technical writing skills with the ability to clearly explain complex legal and technical concepts to clients

The target salary range for this position varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience: $126,000 - $170,000.
