Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a dynamic full-time employment opportunity for a Junior, Mid-level, or Senior Patent Agent to be resident in the Boston office or work remotely supporting our Boston office. The associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country, including interacting with GT attorneys across our global platform.The candidate will provide patent prosecution services in software and electronics IP across an array of industries. Familiarity with software and electronics is required, and experience with health and medicine is a plus. Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent discipline. Candidates should be familiar with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution. Prior firm experience and registration with the USPTO is required. Industry work experience is a plus, and experience with patent litigation is a plus.
Patent agents with at least one year of experience will be considered.
Candidates must have: an excellent academic record, superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral), a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service, and a creative and strategic approach to prosecution.
Candidates must be registered for practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office or eligible for such registration.

The expected pay range for this position is:
Associate: $225,000 - $365,000 per year
Patent Agent: $150,000 to $185,000 per year
Patent Agent: $150,000 to $185,000 per year
