Job Description Summary:
A Global Law Firm is seeking a Patent Agent with 2-5 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group, Patent Development and Strategy Subgroup for our Boston, Philadelphia, DC, Reston, San Diego, Palo Alto or Seattle office. We prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools as well as prior experience in a large or mid-sized law firm. Background in life sciences and in particular biotechnology, registration with the USPTO and advanced degree, prefer PhD, in molecular and cellular biology or similar disciplines (excluding chemistry, medical device, or pharmaceutical sciences). Candidates who have litigation, opinions, licensing, patent due diligence, and/or trademark experience are preferred, but not required.

Requirements:
