Job Requirements:
This position will support the IP Practice working on the strategic development, procurement, and counseling of patent portfolios. Applicants should have focused experience in the following areas:
  • Drafting chemical-related patent applications
  • Prosecuting chemical-related patent applications

Candidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. Candidates with a degree or an advanced degree in chemical engineering are preferred, although candidates with degrees in materials science, chemistry, or strong relevant experience in any one of these areas will also be considered. A strong understanding of chemistry and related principles is a plus. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, be comfortable working directly with clients, and possess strong writing and analytical skills.
