Immigration law firm seeks an extremely knowledgeable attorney in Family-Based, Humanitarian, and Removal Defense to:
- Review fact patterns.
- Spot any/all options for relief.
- Give rough estimates of the chances of success for each option.
- Provide your professional recommendation for the next course of action.
Requirements:
- Ability to accurately issue-spot for all types of Family-Based, Humanitarian, and Removal Defense immigration cases, including the ability to quickly research issues to verify eligibility.
- Remain up-to-date on changes in immigration law and policy.
- Generally able to conduct Case Analyses within 24 hours. (Additional compensation is offered for 4-hour turnarounds.)

- Dealing with DHS/EOIR
- Dealing with clients
This position is PT to start, with the potential to move to FT. We offer a generous salary, health insurance, 401(k), bar/AILA dues, AILALink, and a gym membership.
Responsibilities:
- Review intakes to spot any/all options for relief.
- Give rough estimates of the chances of success for each option.
- Provide your professional recommendation for the next course of action.
- Explain your recommendation in layman's terms.
- Communicate with clients in a friendly, accurate way, following the firm's communication policies.
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native Spanish fluency. (Sorry, this isn't negotiable).
- Solid ability to issue spots for all types of removal, family, and humanitarian immigration cases, and ability to quickly research to verify eligibility.
- Remain up-to-date on changes in immigration law and policy.
Compensation: $60 - $80 hourly
