Hassan Law PA, a South Florida family and immigration law firm, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing team.This position is ideal for an attorney seeking meaningful family law work with a flexible schedule, collaborative team environment, and work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage family law matters from initial filing through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and proposed orders
- Handle all aspects of discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, mandatory disclosure, discovery objections, and motions to compel
- Review and analyze financial records, discovery responses, and supporting documentation
- Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Negotiate settlements and develop case strategy
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Bar member in good standing
- 3+ years of Florida family law experience
- Prior courtroom and trial experience
- Strong legal writing, advocacy, negotiation, and client-management skills
- Ability to independently manage cases, discovery, and deadlines
- Professional, dependable, and client-focused
- Approximately 20 hours per week / 1,000 hours annually
- Flexible part-time schedule
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience starting at $60,000
