Description:

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is seeking two part-time attorneys (20-25 hours a week) to provide creative and zealous advocacy to its clients. The part-time attorney is needed to represent either (1) children in dependency and minor guardianship courts or (2) adults in guardianship court. Hours are flexible as long as court calendars allow. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, intelligent, compassionate team player who possesses a passion for public service and a strong commitment to ensuring justice for vulnerable children in our community.

Preferred Experience & Skills
Experience in litigation, as well as family, guardianship, and dependency law is preferred, but not required. Training and mentorship are provided. The ability to speak Spanish is always beneficial. The candidate must be a licensed attorney in good standing from any United States jurisdiction (Nevada offers special licensing for attorneys relocating to Nevada to provide legal services through Legal Aid Center.)

Salary & Benefits:
Starting salary range is $37,000 to $50,000 depending on experience, with annual increases available. There are no benefits offered as it is a part-time position.
