Description:

Reisz Siderman Eisenberg, APC is seeking a Law and Motion Partner to join our growing litigation team. This is a key role for an experienced attorney who thrives on research, analysis, and advocacy on paper and in the courtroom.

RSE offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement. We strongly value a collegial environment and work-life balance, with a billing requirement of 1800 hours annually and remote work flexibility as well as a generous quarterly bonus structure.

Salary Range: $190,000 – $234,000 (commensurate with experience)

What You'll Do:
As our Law and Motion Partner, you will:
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions, discovery motions, demurrers, motions to strike, pre-trial motions, and other critical filings
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and develop winning strategies on complex legal issues
  • Work closely with trial attorneys to shape case strategy and position matters for early resolution or trial success
  • Review pleadings, discovery, and evidence to identify strong motion opportunities
  • Appear in court to argue motions and handle hearings when appropriate
  • Play a central role in shaping the legal direction of our cases, not just “supporting” them

What We're Looking For:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active California bar membership in good standing
  • Extensive experience drafting motions on the defense side (previous insurance defense experience preferred)
  • Excellent legal writing skills and a clear, persuasive style
  • Confidence in legal research, issue-spotting, and strategic thinking
  • Someone who takes ownership of their work

Why You'll Like Working Here
Your work will matter. The motions you write will directly shape case outcomes.
  • You'll be respected as a strategist, not just a behind-the-scenes drafter.
  • Supportive and collegial team-oriented environment with experienced litigators
  • Real opportunities for growth, recognition, and increased responsibility
  • A practice that values quality, precision, and smart advocacy over busywork
  • 1800-hour annual billable requirement
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Remote work flexibility

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This position is ideal for an attorney who loves the intellectual side of litigation: building arguments, spotting weaknesses, and crafting briefs that win. If you take pride in seeing a judge adopt your reasoning and rule in your client's favor, you'll feel right at home in this role.
