Overview:
Partner – Corporate, Finance and Securities sought by Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP for a position based in Sacramento, CA. Must have a J.D. in Law and 60 months of experience as an Associate Attorney. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California. Must be proficient in the Mandarin Chinese language. Must have one year of experience advising foreign public companies on cross border transactions, U.S. corporate and securities financial laws, and equity financing. May work remotely up to three days per week. Duties include: Work with domestic and foreign companies in different industries to complete public offerings or private placements in the U.S. and ensure they meet SEC regulations as well as other state and federal legal and regulatory compliance requirements. Advise public and private companies with operations primarily in Southeast Asia and China, both domestic and foreign, on a broad range of corporate, transactional, and securities matters, including securities offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, financings, and general corporate matters.
