Job Summary:
Perez Mayoral, P.A. is a growing multi-attorney litigation firm representing homeowners, businesses, and property owners in disputes involving HOAs, condominium associations, real estate, and commercial matters. We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Miami/Coral Gables office.

This role is ideal for a senior attorney (at least 10 years of experience) who is ready to step into a leadership position, manage complex litigation, and help expand our presence in Miami-Dade County.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in HOA litigation and commercial real estate matters, along with the ability to independently manage cases, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to firm growth.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $150,000 to $200,000 annually (commensurate with experience), not including commissions, origination fees, or referral compensation

Referral Compensation
  • Contingency Fee Matters: If you referred the case, you will receive 30% of the attorney fee.
  • Billable Matters: If you referred the case, you will receive 25% of all retainers for the life of the case while employed by Perez Mayoral, P.A.
  • Billable Matters Referred by Outside Attorneys: They will receive 25% of the first retainer only and must sign a fee sharing agreement.
  • Hourly Internal Attorney in Bringing a Case from an Outside Attorney: You will receive 10% of the first retainer and 25% of future retainers for the life of the case while employed by Perez Mayoral, P.A.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Miami/Coral Gables office personnel regarding day-to-day office duties and issues that may arise
  • Handle complex HOA, commercial, and real estate litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Manage active litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements.
  • Prepare and negotiate settlements.
  • Maintain client relationships and manage expectations.
  • Oversee investigations and evidence collection.
  • Conduct legal research and case strategy development.
  • Record and maintain accurate time entries (minimum billing requirement of 130 hours per month, with bonus structure for hours billed beyond threshold).
  • Mentor associate attorneys and collaborate with legal staff.
  • Network with local organizations and professionals for the purposes of acquiring local clients within Miami-Dade County area.
  • Maintain an in-office presence a minimum of four (4) days per week.

Qualifications:
  • Florida Bar admission required.
  • At least 10 years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Strong background in HOA, commercial, and real estate litigation.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex cases.
  • Interest in developing a book of business and contributing to firm growth.
  • Leadership mindset.
