Description:
A Focused Finance Law Firm is seeking to hire an Associate Attorney, Counsel, or Senior Counsel to join the Project Finance/Public-Private Partnerships and Governmental (Public Finance) Practice Groups at the Firm. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of project/public infrastructure finance experience at a bank, developer or energy contractor or a large or medium-size firm. While residency in the Chicago office is preferred, residency in other Chapman offices, particularly New York, is possible.Desired experience includes:
- Experience with drafting commercial and financing documents, document review, legal research, and writing memoranda
- Familiarity with transactional work focusing on infrastructure and/or energy related financial transactions
- Experience working and communicating directly with both public and private sector clients
The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials as well as superior interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills. Commitment to client service is critical, as is the ability to handle fast-paced complex transactions and juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Successful candidates will project a professional presence, demonstrate flexibility in work situations, and be willing to accept constructive feedback.
Candidates must be members in good standing or eligible to waive into the appropriate state Bar.
