Heckscher, Teillon, Terrill & Sager, a boutique trusts and estates law firm located in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, seeks a full-time associate attorney to join our Orphans' Court Litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented litigator to work in a dynamic and growing environment, focusing on meaningful cases that impact families and estates.

Qualified Candidate Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in litigation, with a demonstrated track record of successful outcomes.
Experience in the Pennsylvania state court system, including drafting pleadings, motions and briefs, document review and drafting discovery requests and responses.
Strong understanding of the litigation processes is a must; knowledge of probate law, estate planning and guardianship issues a plus.
Excellent academic credentials, research, writing and analytical skills, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and empathy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
Expertise in estate and trust law not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in Orphans' Court proceedings, including matters related to estate disputes, guardianships, and trust administration.
Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients navigating complex estate, trust, and guardianship issues.
Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners and clients to develop case strategies and represent clients in court hearings and trials.
Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service and attention to detail.
