We are seeking an ambitious and experienced senior patent associate to join our team and assist these great clients.

Core Responsibilities:
- Write compelling and defensible patent applications.
- Write effective replies to office actions.
- Provide strategic counseling on patentability and portfolio management.
- Prepare and execute patent filing roadmaps.
- Conduct I.P. due diligence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in patent prosecution and patent strategy.
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Technical degree (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.) in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent technical area.
- Membership in the State Bar of California (or the state from which you intend to work).
- Must be registered to practice before the USPTO.
- Excellent client management abilities and a responsive and professional communication style.
- Self-motivation and strong problem-solving skills.
- Practical computer programming or engineering experience is a plus.
- Experience at an AM Law 200 firm is a plus.
