Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Of Counsel to join our legal team in Irvine, CA. This position is ideal for individuals with 5-10 years of experience who are passionate about every phase of the litigation process. The Of Counsel will be responsible for assisting with a broad range of legal matters, including legal research, discovery, providing counsel, and preparing for and trying cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage litigation matters, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and client communications.
- Draft and review substantive pleadings, dispositive motions, and other high-level legal documents with minimal oversight.
- Oversee and direct discovery efforts, including depositions, expert coordination, and document production.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients
- Take a leading role in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings, including supervising junior attorneys and legal staff.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active California State Bar license.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- This position can be in-person or hybrid.
