An American Law Firm's Nonprofit Organizations Group seeks a midlevel associate with three to five years of experience to join our fast-paced and highly regarded national practice in the Washington, D.C. office.

The qualified candidate is experienced in the full array of nonprofit organization legal matters including: entity formation, corporate governance, federal and state tax exemption matters, fundraising regulation, political activities compliance, and general business law needs, including contract drafting and review. The ideal candidate is well-versed in working with 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6) organizations and will also have familiarity with campaign finance and election laws and state/federal lobbying registration and disclosure laws. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills, and an outstanding academic record. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the D.C. bar. Please include law school transcripts with submissions.
