Description:
Position Overview:The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a high-volume personal injury caseload, is proactive in case strategy, and can independently manage files from pre-litigation through litigation, including court appearances in Nevada.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload
- Handle cases from intake through settlement and/or litigation
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and demand packages
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Appear at hearings and court proceedings in Nevada state courts
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers
- Negotiate settlements and develop case strategies
- Work collaboratively with case managers and support staff to move files efficiently
- Maintain accurate case documentation and meet all litigation deadlines
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in Nevada (required)
- 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Experience managing a high-volume caseload
- Comfortable making regular court appearances in Nevada
- Strong negotiation and case evaluation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
