A Global Law Firm is currently accepting applications for a Midlevel Associate position for our Intellectual Property (IP) practice in Technology Transactions and Data Protection practice group for our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have one to four years of transactional experience with an understanding of IP as well as product development.

Essential Duties:
- Experience with IP and technology as well as commercial contracts that involve the acquisition, use, and exploitation of technology and IP.
- Candidates must have direct experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, such as contracts related to product development and licensing, manufacturing, resale, supply chain and logistics, and customer agreements, including, both consumer and B2B, hardware, software, and services which include SaaS.
- Additional experience advising clients on the development and commercialization on products, including IP protection and regulatory compliance, in particular regulations related to data protection, privacy, and security is a plus
- The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic contributor to the Firm and office culture, and have a collaborative approach to his/her work environment.
- Superior Academic Credentials (top 15% Preferred) and Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills.
- Strong Interest in Technology and Ip as Show by One or More of The Following:
- Work Experience in The Legal Field or Stem Field or Technology Industry
- Law School Courses and Activities
- Undergraduate Studies in Related Subjects (e.G., Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
- Ip Prosecution or Litigation Experience
- Law Review/moot Court or Journal Experience.
