Description:

Baker Botts L.L.P. is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join our Dallas or Houston office. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, preferably in a large law firm, working on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, development, financings, refinancings, leasing, and joint ventures, and across various asset classes, including energy and data center-related transactions. Candidates must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills; be detail-oriented; and be capable of managing multiple workstreams independently while also collaborating effectively with, and in many cases leading, a team. A strong academic background and the ability to take on significant responsibility are required.

As part of our nationally recognized Real Estate practice, you will work with major institutional investors, developers, lenders, and corporate clients across a wide range of asset classes, including office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, and other large-scale commercial projects (including energy and data center projects). Our team handles all aspects of commercial real estate transactions - from structuring and negotiation through closing and ongoing operations - and has decades of experience representing both landlords and tenants in build-to-suit, headquarters, and other major leases tied to corporate relocations, expansions, and renewals. You will also have the opportunity to work on complex joint ventures involving institutional capital, as well as capital-intensive development and financing projects throughout the U.S. and internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a broad-based real estate practice, meaningful client contact, and early ownership of significant workstreams. You'll have direct partner access, exposure to high-value matters, and a strong platform for long-term growth within a collaborative, highly regarded team.
