Attorneys in Smith Anderson's Products Liability and Mass Torts practice represent manufacturers, distributors, and other businesses in complex disputes involving products, technologies, and alleged injuries or losses. The practice draws on the strength of a full-service business and litigation firm serving regional, national, and global companies, including numerous Fortune 100 companies, allowing our litigators to work collaboratively with attorneys across disciplines to understand each client's business, industry, and broader objectives. Our lawyers serve as first-chair trial counsel locally and nationally, working with companies across industries ranging from industrial materials and equipment, consumer goods to automotive, pharmaceutical, medical device, agricultural, and biotechnology products.

Our ideal candidate has three to five years of products liability experience, with strong deposition skills and a significant role in cases involving catastrophic personal injuries or extensive property damage. Prior trial experience is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate should be licensed in South Carolina, or be willing to obtain licensure in South Carolina.
