Well-known and long standing plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate for immediate hire.Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar and have a minimum of 5–10 years of litigation experience. Prior experience in personal injury and maritime law is required.
Applicants with prior experience working at maritime law firms plaintiff or defense are strongly encouraged to apply. Attorneys with prior federal clerkship experience, graduates of top-tier law schools, law review members, or former associates of major firms are also welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter able to handle your own case load, with a strong desire to succeed and a long-term interest in building a career, not simply taking another job. Candidates should have experience litigating in both state and federal courts, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing substantive motions, and possess excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
This position involves handling complex, high-value cases including maritime, serious injury, and wrongful death claims.
Salary is commensurate with experience, with performance-based bonuses available. Fully paid health insurance and other benefits.
