Description:
Description:Mid-Level Immigration Associate Attorney (3+ Years)
We are looking for an experienced (i.e., 3+ years of U.S. business immigration experience) attorney to join our team as a Business Immigration Attorney. We are small but innovative—growing fast and doing cool stuff. If you are an A-player with the right skills and mindset, you'll have room to grow with us and help shape what we're doing.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a varied caseload of business immigration matters, including O-1, L-1, H-1B, EB-1A, EB-1C, E-2, EB-5, and PERM, among others
- Work collaboratively with and help lead a growing team of attorneys and legal support staff in a non-hierarchical structure where what matters most are good ideas, not job titles
- Draft legal briefs, support letters, RFE/NOID responses, and other persuasive memoranda in complex cases
- Litigate immigration-related delay and APA actions in federal court
- Work closely with clients throughout the case lifecycle, from initial consult through case completion
Qualifications:
- Is licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Has practiced U.S. immigration law for 3+ years, with a substantial focus on business immigration
- Writes beautifully
- Fluent in English and Spanish, no exceptions
- Is genuinely excited about our core values and approach to immigration practice
- Can oversee most business-immigration case types from start to end, with minimal direction, and figure out anything they haven't mastered yet
- Can comfortably handle O-1, E-2, and L-1 matters from end to end
- Is capable and interested in managing and coaching other members of our team
Compensation:
$115,000 - $135,000 yearly
