Holland & Knight is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory and Enforcement Associate in Nashville, TN to support its nationally recognized healthcare practice. This position advises healthcare clients on day-to-day operational and regulatory matters, including provider and facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and compliance with complex federal and state healthcare regulations. The role involves counseling on issues arising under the federal Stark Law, federal and state anti-kickback statutes, and other healthcare fraud and abuse laws, as well as assisting clients with regulatory risk assessment and enforcement matters. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience as a healthcare regulatory associate at a reputable law firm, with demonstrated experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory analysis. Experience with facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid issues, fraud, waste, and abuse compliance, healthcare privacy, and the regulatory aspects of healthcare mergers and acquisitions is strongly preferred.

Candidates should have strong writing skills, exhibit close attention to detail, and be hardworking. Immediately transferable skills and a strong academic background with excellent drafting skills are also essential.
