Description:

Our employment law and labor practice is seeking a litigation-focused associate with three to six years of experience for our Portland, Oregon office.

The ideal candidate will have experience in employment and general litigation, representing employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Strong skills in motion practice, discovery, litigation strategy, and written and oral advocacy are required. Experience in class action litigation, especially on wage and hour issues, is a plus. We are looking for a motivated, responsive attorney who works well independently and as part of a team and can contribute immediately to client needs.

Oregon and Washington licenses to practice is required, and a California license is beneficial. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available to all Miller Nash attorneys.

Compensation:
  • Base Salary Range:
    • $172,500 – $192,500 per year (The posted range reflects the expected base salary for this role based on factors such as years of experience, qualifications, and location. The exact offer within this range will depend on the selected candidate's background.)
  • Bonuses and Other Compensation:
    • Eligibility for an automatic performance bonus ranging from $10,000 – $40,000 annually, contingent on meeting specified billable hours thresholds.
    • Potential for additional discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
