About the role:
A Dedicated International Practice Group is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our Eminent Domain & Condemnation Practice in either our Columbia, Greenville, or Charleston offices in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate related litigation and an interest in eminent domain issues and condemnation procedures across South Carolina and Georgia.
Candidates should possess direct experience in any of the following commercial real estate-related practice areas: eminent domain/condemnation, property rights, land use, zoning/entitlements, real estate development, commercial real estate transactions (excluding residential closings), or real estate litigation. Proficiency in handling hearings, discovery, and depositions is essential.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required, along with the ability to multitask and synthesize complex legal research. An interest in a high-volume, litigation-based practice is crucial, as the candidate must be adept at managing multiple matters and maintaining organization.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of attorneys who guide property and business owners through all phases of eminent domain proceedings and various property disputes.
