Role Overview:
The Minneapolis office of Stoel Rives LLP is seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its Corporate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have law firm experience in general corporate work including M&A, securities, debt and equity financing, securities, and other business transactions. This position will involve work in a variety of industries, including agribusiness, life sciences and energy. Members of our team can expect to benefit from working with clients on mid-market and larger transactions. Attorneys in this role can expect direct client exposure, and often interface with colleagues across offices and practice groups. The associate in this role will independently produce client-ready documents and will work with others on complex transactions.

- Experience in M&A, securities, debt and equity financing and other business transactions;
- Enjoy the challenge of negotiating and documenting complex transactions;
- Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand how a project serves clients goals;
- A commitment to client service and team success;
- Ability to communicate business goals into contract language;
- JD from an accredited university; and
- Active membership in or commitment in applying to the Minnesota State Bar.

How You Will Live Life Well at Stoel Rives: Compensation, Benefits, and More!
The pay range for this position is $205,000-$230,000; however, the base compensation presented to a candidate may vary based on skills and overall experience. This salary range is based on market location.
In addition to base compensation, Stoel Rives has a total rewards program that includes an annual discretionary bonus and rich benefits offerings. To help meet billable hour expectations, we also allow up to 50 hours of billable credit for diversity, equity, and inclusion-related activities, as well as an additional up to 50 hours for pro bono activities.
