Job Description:The Washington, D.C. office of Holland & Knight LLP seeks a mid-level associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its Aviation Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the aviation industry and interested in working on complex regulatory and commercial matters affecting airlines and other industry participants. The practice covers airline licensing and compliance issues, antitrust matters, marketing and distribution, customs and trade issues, and aviation safety and security. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical, writing, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We welcome candidates who enjoy writing and speaking on aviation-related topics and are interested in contributing to a growing and dynamic practice.
Job Requirements:
- 4-6 years of relevant aviation, regulatory, antitrust, transportation, or related legal experience.
- Experience with matters involving the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), or similar agencies preferred.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Admission to practice in Washington, D.C., or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

This position may be filled in Washington, D.C. In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position in this location is $310,000 - $390,000/yr. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
