About the role:Established firm in east Dallas looking for a licensed attorney with a backround in civil litigation. Firm has a varied litigation practice section that includes construction, business, fiduciary, and real estate litigation. The ideal canidate is comfortable with drafting complex petitions, discovery, MSJs, pre-trial motions, and TPJ charges.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Managing client files and keeping up to date with new cases
- Communicating with clients via email, phone calls, and in person
- Maintaining a client file and preparing case briefs
- Serving as the point of contact for clients while working on their case
- Preparing clients for court hearings
- Working with other attorneys to ensure that each case is handled appropriately
- Working with and supervising paralegals
Requirements:
- Degree in law
- Membership in the State Bar of Texas
- First chair trial experience
