Job Description:
We seek a talented and motivated mid-level attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join our Chambers ranked Labor & Employment Group. This role offers significant hands-on responsibility and the opportunity to take a lead role on matters while working closely with partners and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of employment defense litigation, including factual investigation, drafting position statements and pleadings, discovery and motion practice.
  • Take ownership of cases and manage day-to-day litigation activities.
  • Conduct depositions, appear in court, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and provide timely, strategic analysis and recommendations to clients.
  • Counsel clients on a variety of employment-related issues, including reductions in force, terminations, equal pay audits, workplace investigations, and compliance with wage and hour and other employment laws.
  • Draft employment policies, employment agreements, separation agreements and training materials.
  • Provide M&A support; conduct employment diligence into target companies.
  • Work closely with partners on litigation strategy and client development.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Admitted to the New York State Bar
  • Four to six years of litigation experience (law firm experience strongly preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

New York Disclaimer:
This position is based in New York. The expected salary range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications

Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
