We are proud of our reputation for delivering strategic, results-driven advocacy while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client service.As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and exceptional Mid-Level Associate Attorney with at least four years of litigation or other relevant experience to join our team and contribute meaningfully to our expanding commercial practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling pre-trial proceedings, discovery, motion practice, court conferences, and depositions.
- Drafting legal documents including, but not limited to, bill of particulars and other pleadings, discovery motions, and appellate briefs.
- Managing the in-take of contract requests and conducting client interviews related to contracts.
- Perform legal research.
- Managing and settling disputes.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Apprising partners of material developments and matters on a timely basis.
- Exercising sound business and legal judgment.
- Demonstrating leadership skills in the support of a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years New York litigation experience.
- Member in good standing of the New York State Bar.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Sound judgment and ability to manage cases.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
