You Are:

A stellar attorney with at least 4-6 full years' experience in commercial litigation and corporate contracts and transactions.
Licensed to practice law in New York.
Conscientious, thorough and you take the accuracy of your work seriously.
Proactive, driven and good under pressure. You're even a little competitive.
Eager to learn and improve on the job, so you are receptive to feedback.
Polished, poised, practical, energetic and you have a strong work ethic.

In This Role, You Would:

Report to the Head of the Employment Department.
Have varied activities including multiple, simultaneous projects that offer learning opportunities.
Use your expertise-based problem-solving skills to offer innovative solutions.
Be required to have a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy. You believe that quality should never be compromised.
Advise employers on day-to-day workplace issues and deliver practical, plain English advice.
Draft, review, and revise demand letters, complaints, and motion papers in employment-related disputes.
Assist with all substantive aspects of employment disputes, including agency submissions, drafting discovery requests and responses and preparing for depositions.
Draft and update contracts, handbooks and other employment-related agreements and help clients implement compliant workplace practices.
Lead by example: with your work ethic, your drive for success, and positive attitude.
Be involved in client development, marketing and the growth of the firm.
