Description:We are seeking a PT Litigation Attorney to join our team, responsible for managing complex litigation, title, and default matters for the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and approve litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research.
- Review complex title issues and determine solutions. .
- Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Manage a litigation caseload.
Position Requirements:
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the Maryland Bar. An additional DC license is preferred but not required.
- 3 + years of litigation and title resolution experience.
- Possess and maintain knowledge of Maryland state laws and civil procedure.
- Be responsible for litigation caseload, which can include: title curative, title disputes, debt disputes, tax issues, petitions to forfeit sales deposits, petitions for surplus funds, receivership appointment, judicial foreclosure, wrongful foreclosure, etc.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and timely decision-making.
