Role Description:
This is a full-time Mandarin Immigration Associate Attorney role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. As a Mandarin Immigration Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal assistance and guidance to Mandarin-speaking clients in matters related to immigration law. Your day-to-day tasks will include drafting briefs and memorandums, gathering and analyzing evidence, preparing legal documents, representing clients in immigration hearings, and providing legal advice and counsel. This role requires strong knowledge of immigration laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and advocacy skills, especially in Mandarin Chinese.
Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state of New York
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English
- Two years or more experience in immigration law, preferably with a focus on Mandarin-speaking clients
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
