The Morgan Law Group is seeking an experienced Managing Attorney to lead and oversee our Personal Injury Department. This role is ideal for a hands-on attorney with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about building efficient teams and driving results.

Position Overview:
The Managing Attorney will be responsible for the overall management, performance, and progression of personal injury cases from pre-litigation through litigation. This role will oversee attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and support staff, ensuring files move efficiently, deadlines are met, and clients receive exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all Personal Injury files, including pre-litigation and litigation matters
  • Ensure cases are progressing timely manner and in compliance with internal standards, court rules, and ethical obligations
  • Supervise and mentor PI attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
  • Ensure staff are properly trained, supported, and aligned with department workflows and expectations
  • Conduct regular file reviews to identify risks, delays, and opportunities for resolution
  • Collaborate with leadership on department performance, staffing needs, and process improvements
  • Maintain accountability for productivity, quality of work, and client communication
  • Serve as a resource for complex legal issues and case strategy
  • Assist with developing and refining PI department procedures as needed

Qualifications:
  • Active license and good standing with the Florida Bar (multi-state licensure a plus)
  • Six (6) or more years of experience handling personal injury cases, including pre-litigation and litigation
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload environment while leading a team
  • Experience working with case management systems (Clio or similar preferred)
