The 22nd Judicial Circuit-Juvenile Division seeks an applicant for a Chief Legal Counsel. Candidate must possess a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Law degree and be a member of the Missouri Bar in good standing. Five to seven years of legal experience, and five to seven years of supervisory experience with increasing responsibility and supervision of professional staff is preferred. Thorough knowledge of the Juvenile Code and Missouri Supreme Court Rules. Knowledge of trial practices in Juvenile Law. Considerable knowledge of general supervisory practices, communicating effectively and public speaking. Considerable skills in legal research, analysis and writing. Ability to participate in management training as requested and offered through the Office of States Courts Administrator, the city of St. Louis or other available resources. Salary range $108,836 - $170,066
