Daniels, Porco & Lusardi LLP is seeking an experienced litigator to join our firm. This role is ideal for an attorney with 10+ years of civil litigation experience and the capability to independently manage the litigation practice in the firm from start to finish. Depending on past experience, the attorney will come in as Senior Associate or Partner, and will be responsible for all aspects of the firm's litigation work, including but not limited to civil litigation involving healthcare, employment, estate administration, and real estate.Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation files independently from intake through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal as needed
- Serve as the firm's litigation attorney across a broad range of matters
- Collaborate with partners, associates and staff
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 10+ years of civil litigation experience
- Admission to the New York State Bar required; admission in Connecticut or other states a plus
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Comfortable taking full ownership of a litigation caseload and working independently
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
