The McCormick Law Firm is a fast-paced volume personal injury practice seeking to grow our litigation division. We are a national firm of over 150 employees practicing injury law in over 15 states. This position is located at our firm principal office in Euless, Texas

The firm is looking to hire a litigation managing attorney. We have nearly 400 Texas cases in active litigation across four teams. This role will manage three litigation attorneys and ten paralegals.

The ideal candidate is an experienced trial attorney who has litigated auto accidents, premise, and dog bite cases. Has handled discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial. A Texas Bar License in good standing is required.

The primary responsibilities of a litigation managing attorney at McCormick Law Firm are:
  1. Manage and oversee strategy for nearly 400 cases in active litigation across Texas from filing suit, through trial.
  2. Manage, train, and coach the litigation department currently consisting of three attorneys and ten paralegals.
  3. Manage the timely settlement of cases, disbursement of funds to clients, lien holders, and medical providers.

Compensation Plan:
It is structured as a base salary and fee share based on monthly deposits of settlements for the assigned team of litigators. Salary is paid bi-weekly and fee share is paid once monthly. Expected compensation range for this role is $300,000.00 to $400,000.00.

Additional compensation opportunity, staff attorney referrals to the firm earn up to a 50% fee share.
