Position Summary:
The Personal Injury Junior Attorney will work under the supervision of the Senior Litigation Attorney and support a team of three attorneys. This role involves active participation in all stages of litigation, including case development, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. The Junior Attorney will also serve as a back-up to the Senior Litigation Attorney to ensure seamless case management and client service.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from anaccredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with theTexas State Bar (or awaiting results/admission)
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, personal injury law required
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions
  • Willingness to learn from and collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members
  • Commitment to professional growth and development
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Trial or courtroom experience, including motion hearings, depositions, or participation in trial teams is a plus (1st or 2nd chair)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Litigation Attorney and litigation teamin managing a docket of personal injury cases
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support litigation strategies
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, asdirected
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and gathering case information
  • Participate in case strategy meetings and contribute totrial preparation
  • Review and analyze medical records, accident reports,and other evidence
  • Support the Senior Litigation Attorney in case management, calendaring, and deadline tracking
  • Serve as back-up to the Senior Litigation Attorney in their absence, ensuring continuity in case handling andclient communication
  • Collaborate closely with paralegals, case managers, and other attorneys to ensure efficient case progression
