Remote Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a skilled, motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team in a fully remote role focused primarily on federal-court litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys substantive motion practice, strategic case analysis, and courtroom advocacy while working with a collaborative legal team.

Approximately 90% of this role's work will involve matters pending in federal court. The successful candidate must be admitted to practice in federal court and comfortable independently managing key litigation tasks from case assessment through hearings.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze notices of removal and federal jurisdiction issues.
Calculate and evaluate damages.
Meet and confer with opposing counsel regarding discovery, disputes, and case-related issues.
Draft high-quality motions, oppositions, replies, and supporting legal memoranda.
Conduct legal research and develop persuasive legal arguments.
Prepare for and argue motions and other hearings.
Collaborate with supervising attorneys and team members on litigation strategy and case management.
Maintain organized, timely, and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the internal legal team.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license in good standing with a state bar.
Admitted to practice before federal court.
Prior civil litigation and federal-court experience strongly preferred.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize multiple matters, and work independently in a remote environment.
Professional, responsive, and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and opposing counsel.
