Essential Job Functions:
The ideal candidate is an attorney with at least five years of commercial litigation experience, preferably in defending clients in class action litigation.

The attorney should have experience:
  • Developing and implementing case strategy, including advising clients on such strategy
  • Drafting substantive memoranda such as motions to dismiss, oppositions to motions for class certification, motions for summary judgment, and appellate briefs
  • Independently managing offensive and defensive discovery efforts, including drafting discovery requests and responses, managing document productions, and litigating motions to compel
  • Working with experts
  • Prior experience with federal and state privacy laws is preferred, but not required.

You must also demonstrate the potential to independently manage projects, interact with clients, and work effectively as a team member.

Candidates should write and communicate well, be able to think strategically and assess risks, and be comfortable working under tight deadlines that start-up clients sometimes impose.
