Job Description:Dracup & Patterson, Inc. is seeking a contract litigation attorney to independently manage business/commercial and real estate litigation matters in a fully remote, self-directed environment.
This role is ideal for attorneys who combine strong legal judgment with sophisticated use of technology tools. We are specifically looking for attorneys who use technology to improve drafting, analysis, and case strategy, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and verification standards when utilizing AI-assisted legal workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage business/commercial and/or real estate litigation matters through the pre-trial phase
- Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and legal analysis
- Analyze opposing counsel filings, contracts, discovery, and case materials
- Develop litigation strategy and communicate directly with clients as needed
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency, analysis, drafting quality, and matter management while maintaining strict verification standards
- Manage deadlines, priorities, and case progression in a remote environment with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience handling litigation matters independently
- 5+ years of business/commercial litigation and/or real estate litigation experience required
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Comfortable operating in a self-directed remote environment
- Demonstrated experience incorporating AI-assisted tools into legal drafting, analysis, or litigation workflows
- Competitive compensation - $75-$150+ DOE

Pay: $75.00 - $150.00 per hour
